Truth

Truth with time defines belief,
In faith lies treasure time bequeaths,
Works above keeps work beneath,
While works below above beseech.

I like the part about works here; well, I like my interpretation of it at least. However, I don't really agree with the "truth with time defines belief," unless of course I'm missing some sarcasm or something here. Does belief really have anything to do with truth? I'll buy the belief-time connection, or even the truth-time connection, but not so much the truth-belief connection, unless of course you're trying to say that each person's beliefs are their truths, regardless of reality, but then I would say that belief and time define truth. Hmmmmm... or maybe I'm just completely off. Or are you saying that your truths (like experiences) will shape your faith? I'm confusing myself....
